The C5.0TAERO headlines our new tubular rim lineup of carbon tubular wheels with an emphasis on aerodynamics. We have focused our attention on the shape of the rims and have increased the depth and width to achieve a more foil profiled rim.

Although depth is increased the weight is kept low. At 1280g/pair it is one of the lightest conventionally built carbon tubular wheelsets available in this depth.

These wheels are built for speed. At their rim depth and shape, these are ideally suited to fast rides and races as they hold high speeds easily due to their aerodynamic qualities. Spinup is also quick because of the lightweight rims which reduce rotational weight. These are the quintessential  wheelset for road racing and triathlons, if you had to chose only 1 tubular wheelset for all your racing needs, the C5.0TAERO would be it.

It also features our own SOUL PRODIGY hubs which weight 270g/pair, and use only 1 spoke length for the entire wheelbuild. The SOUL hubs feature a smoother freewheel design with 6pawls, 2 sets of 3 simultaneously engaging pawls and 2 sealed bearings front and 4 sealed bearings rear.

Fully artisan crafted and handbuilt with equal spoke tensions. Spoke threads are preped before assembly to prevent spoke binding and seizing. All spokes are stress relieved a few times during build process. Included are carbon rim brakepads, that are developed exclusively for us. Our KING Pads are fully compatible with our carbon as well as any alloy rim thus allowing for wheel swap without the hassle of swapping pads.
