It took us 4 years and 5 variations of the S2.0s to get here! deeper and stronger, at an actual weight of 1330g/pair. It is also now built with a deeper rim at 390g/ 25mm. It is one of the lightest full aluminium clincher wheelset in the world, For 2009-2010, we worked with a new alloy rim manufacturer to come out with a new S2.0 rim. We increased the depth to 25mm as we felt the 22mm Niobiums although light were not as strong, stiff or handled high speeds very well. We also cut the number of front spokes from 24 to 20 to increase it's aerodynamic properties and increased the width of the rims to 20mm.

It features our own SOUL PRODIGY V3 hubs which weight 280g/pair, and use only 1 spoke length for the entire wheelbuild. The SOUL hubs feature a smoother freewheel design with 6 pawls, 2 sets of 3 simultaneously engaging pawls and 2 sealed bearings front and 4 sealed bearings rear. We increased the number of pawls to increase engagement speed.

They are built strong enough for everyday training and light enough for climb specific races. Spinup is quick because of the lightweight rims which reduce rotational weight. With a slightly deeper rim section, lower spoke count and bladed spokes, the wheels now hold higher speeds better compared to the older versions.

Fully artisan crafted and handbuilt with equal spoke tensions. Spoke threads are preped before assembly to prevent spoke binding and seizing. All spokes are stress relieved a few times during build process.
